but for the mama instead.

well, i just couldnt resist the temptation to make something out of them.

so i spent the whole night finishing this.

I printed out the tutorial a few month ago but didnt have the fabrics to make it. I super super love the bag! trus pki the bag to my checkup today! hehe.. ;)

its not big or luxurious but its ours. and i'm so grateful.

so, mase berjalan habis2an... but then lasted only for 1+ hour..letih.. ;p

i super duper love my family..they are just the best...especially the aunties...when you're with them, you tend to forget they are in their 40's and 50's .. the way they talk, laugh, gossip [mind you..not the usual org tua punya gossip, today was about suri cruise's punya wardrobe, and about brad n jolie!] are like teenagers , they even know the latest hip song on the radio.. maybe not the words but..still....me sendiri pun tak updated cam tu..haha ;p serious best and sporting...!!! ok enuf..kang kembang kang... ;p

balik umah trus tido sampai kol 4!! padahal bukan buat ape pun...dudukkkk aje.. ;p ingat nak berjalan but hehehe...sampai2 trus makan and that was it...tak larat sbb penuh sgt...

DIY : Baby blanket (by request)

today I made this.

i promised my reader to show how I make the baby blanket...so..here it goes..

[sorry because the pictures are blur..took using my phone camera..kenot find where mr hubs put the memory card...just hope you guys understand my writings... ;p]

so firstly, here's the patern i did for my blanket. you can always mix n match and change according to ur preference.

what you will need

for the middle part: 6" x 6" cotton = 35 pieces (mix colours according to your patern)

borders: 34" x 5 " cotton = 2 pieces

44" x 5" cotton = 2 pieces (colour according to patern)

back: 44" x 34" = 1 piece

Scissors

Thread

Sewing machine (you could hand sew, but will take longer time to finish lorr)

pins (to secure you pieces when you sew)

** the printed cotton = rm29/3 meters from ikea (enuf for blanket, bedsheet, pillow n bloster case)

red and yellow plain cotton = rm3/meter from Kamdar

red plain flannel = rm4.50/meter from Kamdar

1. cut all the pieces.

2. sew the 6"x6" together according to your patern using 1/2" seam allowance.

closer image after all the 6"x6" are sewn together.

3. sew the border to the finish body. again using 1/2" seam allowance.

4. fold and make a triangle at every edge. secure with pin.

5. cut excess after securing the edges.

6. place the finish front piece with the back piece together. right side together.

7. secure with pins.

8. sew the 2 pieces together. again with 1/2" seam allowance.

sew all 4 edges. make sure leave 4" opening to turn the blanket inside out.

9. turn the blanket inside out and sew the opening by hand.

10. top stitch the angle and around the border.

something like this.

and voila!!! your blanket is done!!!! ready for your little precious to use. but do remember to wash first yee!! ;)

2 dinner. 2 places. 2 themes. 1 birthday.

me and hubs both had our company dinner last Saturday.

His at Sunway Hotel. Mine at Putrajaya.

His theme was Rock. Mine was Masquerade.

Which one did we go?

He went ti his. I went to mine.

Hehe.

He was on the commitee, so obviously he was obligated to go to his.

I on the other hand, dari dulu lagi wanted so much to go to a Masquerade theme dinner.

So, we both were single for the night ! huhu~~

the dinner was so-so, didnt really enjoy it much...only the live band...had the chance to dance a little..heee...yeah...dance!! i love dancing, but i dont go clubbing..so this is the place where i can show my moves~~ hahaha... tapi selang2 3-4 lagu laaa...then dok lepak tepi jer...holding my belly... ;p

when hubs came back with pictures..i kinda regretted going to mine..sbb nampak happening giler..his bos was super sporting...with the wig, and the tattoo skin sock, the makeup...dasyat!!! then ade red carpet, with a backdrop for cam-whoring...bestttt!!!!!... no pictures tho... hubs tak kasik..huhu...

but well..whats done is done... I got a cooler doorgift tho...

yesterday was my birthday. didnt do anything special. with all the baby preparation, and the house moving, didnt feel of the necessity of celebrating..plus, who wants to be reminded of getting old kan?? hehehe...

but i did get tons of birthday wishes via sms and fb ... thanks guys... you guys are just so sweet.. ;)

i got a birthday/belated wedding gift from my aunts and uncles...

i superrrrrr love!!! wanted this so so so much...but..hehe..kedekut nak beli sendiri... ;p i grew up watching tok ajah cook in pots similar to these...so..obviously mmg nak sgt2 kan....but i didnt expect sesape nak bagi kann....so dear aunties and uncles....thannnnkkkkkk youuuu!!!!! you are my angelss.... ;)

cant wait to start cooking.....hmm...biler laa nak masuk umah baru ni...

bedrest n bedding?

on mc for 2 days after discharged last tuesday.

suppose to be resting.

managed to get some rest yesterday. lying in front of the tv. doing nothing.

but today. i was restless. n bored to death. [rase nk g keje pun ade.boleh?]

so i made my self busy and did what i do best..

menjahit!! ;)

and finally, after hours of measuring and cutting and sewing... i manage to finish little A's first bedding set! (selepas tertangguh berapa lama ntah..hehe)

from left: pillow case (the pillow is the latex type, thats why very lebar n nipis..) , bolster case, blanket and fitted bedsheet. [not in picture: cot bumper - 1/2 finish coz kain tak cukup..hehe]

the blanket. i super love this one..rase nak buat untuk diri sendiri jerr..hehe

hmm..from the corak, can tell eyh boy or girl?? hehe.. i think its unisex..boy or girl..both can use..right? ;)

and now... my back hurtsss like crazy!!!!!! :( :( :(

i think i gotta take 10 day rest before i can start on the next project.. [kain berlambak lagi weyhh..biler ntah nak buat...huhu]

false alarm!

So I was running from one team to the other yesterday morning..the usual stuff..finishing my work, checking my emails, learning new task..

When suddenly..eh eh..apsal basah sluar aku nihhh...went to the toilet..wet.yes. Blood.no. Hmmm..ape yeh?

Went out asked kak fiza, she was..eyh..g check kat clinic.. I was. Why aaa?? No need laa...normal kot..lagipun its still early..baru 34 nk masuk 35w..

But she insisted me to call hubs..so I called..and he came..

He arrived. Blur. Nk g mane nih??

Called mom the first time. She said clinic ok.

Then she called back..go hospital trus laaa..

And since PPUM is the nearest..pergi laa..

Doctor check said everything was ok. Alhamdulillah.but why I was wet. I've yet to know..

And now I'm here on the hospital bed. Spent the night. Waiting for my scan today. What time I dunno.

But what I do know..

-the lady beside me went into labour at 3am..I heard the nurse came and check every one hour..heard her breathing was going faster..then heard the doctor came in..measuring her opening I guess coz I heard 8cm 8cm after that..and boy...reality hit me..I never thought about labor pain before this..tapi setelah mendengar sume tu..baru terase kecut perut sket..huhu..baru terbayang video yg pernah dilihat dizaman uni dulu..oh my..horror...the way the baby comes out..then the cutting..the sewing..alamakkkk..ngilu nyerrrr...tulis ni pun dah rase ketaqqqq...

Adoiiiyaaaa...

Anyways..I met my cousin whom I've not met for how many years already..the last time was like what 8-10 years ago?? Yeah..what a terrible cousin I am! I only read her blogs for her updates..hehe..turns out she's a doctor here..a gynea..lerrrr...klu tau awal2 I would have bombed her with 1001 Qs about pregnancy mase tgh blur2 dulu..nways..we chatted a bit...asked her sedikit sebanyak that I was curious about..then she had to go bcoz she was oncall that night...and duhhh...lupa nak amek die nyer number!! Silly!!! Kak ezra, if ur reading..please..can I have ur number..? Hehehe...

Hmmm...dunno what to write..I'm just damnnnn bored right now...taktau nak buat ape...duk baring jer from yesterday...cm nak pecah kepala...

But ape2pun..I'm glad its just a false alarm...hehehe...alhamdulillah...still too early for this little one to come out.. ;)

1. As much as people think I love the colour pink (which I do), I love white even more. ;)

2. Experiencing the most painful backache I've ever had in my whole life right now.

3. Love Love Love my family. And by family I mean all..my parents,siblings,aunts n uncles,cousins,my inlaws...every single one of them. I love!

4. Little A is wrestling inside me now. Adehh.

5. Gadget freak. Very stingy when it comes to clotes,handbags,shoes and what not. But gadget?? I can go without eating for a month just to save money to buy myself a new gadget. (Diff people diff passions right?)

6. Think. Nope. Knows little sister is a wayyyyy better writer..she can write I tell ya! Me? Huhu..be it in english or bm. I suck! Its just all over.

7. Just switched off the AC. Freezing...

8. Miss basketball like crazy!!!!!!!! S.C.U.D go fight win!!!

9. Heard mommy going down. Hmm.. Coffee at 4 mom? Hehe..

10. Started sewing at the age of 9. From outfits for my barbie doll collection to batu seremban. Once made a mermaids tail (obsessed with The Litlle Mermaid that time). Love sewing till now. ;)

11. Just came out of the bathroom.haha.

12. Misses dear hubs so much..

13. Accident-prone. Goshh..I couldn't make a day without bumping into something!! Hehe..I've had stiches, burnt, fell down a bicycle once and torn the entire skin of my right cheek!! Twisted ankle is a norm. And the list goes on..huhu..

14. Owes cousin syuhaida like 5 gifts!! Hehe..yes I remember...just dunno what to get u laa cousin..u got everything already!! Hahaha

15. 15 down..10 more to go... Uhhhhh...

16. Got another hour to go before I get up for work..why can't I sleeepppp?!?!?! Pfttt..

17. Is very grateful for everything that mom n dad has done for me..I keep thinking more and more of their sacrifices during my pregnancy..how I wish I could give my baby everything that mom n dad ever gave me...thanks mom.thanks dad!

18. Penakut! I'm scared of ghosts! I don't watch scary movies..or I try to avoid watching any coz if I do.I'd have nightmares for daysss!!!!serious!

19. 34 weeks pregnant. 6 weeks to go...ketaq lutut weyhhh!!!

20. I usually don't have any trouble sleeping. I can lie down anywhere and zZZzzz in matter of seconds...hubs is so jealous of me..he has a hard time to get sleep at night..and end up terkebil2 until 3 in the morning..which explains why its hard to wake him up in the morning..poor hubs.

21. Uuuuu..my eyes are half closed.shud I stop now and continue later? Hmmm.. Yes.. ;) nitey nite!

22. In fifah's car..on the way to work..its sure going to be rough day..can hardly keep my eyes open even now..how?

frustrated.

Am now lying in bed. Wide awake at 3am in the morning. (Padan muka siapa suruh tido kol 8 kan!)

Called hubs told him I have a really bad backache. (He's away for audit btw) and his first response was

"Is it time already..?"

Whaaattt??? No laa sayang...I'm only in my 34th week..hehe..this backache is because baring ats katil lama sgt kott..

so anyways..work was super stressful yesterday. Had my personal evaluation with my manager n sr acc. and I ended up walking out the room in tears! Embarassing much!!! Urghh..

Seems like my manager wasn't satisfied with the things I wrote in my evaluation form..no effort as she said...but tell me..I'm juggling 2 teams now..coming as early as 715 in the morning just to make sure my task in my last team is settled before lunch and my new team is now having their month end closing which is super hectic n have to give my fullest attention to everything since the person I'm replacing is resigning very soon..so I must learn the task by heart before she goes or not I'm super dead..and this is my only chance to really understand everything...

Summore my morning sickness is back..I'll just vomit out everything I eat..especially rice and now I can only live on eating roti bakar..which I feel is not enuf coz I'm constantly hungryyyyyy...

How on earth could I concentrate on a 6 page form, with all the above..I only had 15 minutes to do the form before I passed it.. And she expects me to praise myself when I know I didn't did a really good job last year with all my mc's n emergency leaves n all..yes..I know I should think more of myself..not saying that I'm not a good worker..but just saying, by my own standard, I know I could have done more..she said she thinks high of me but when me myself don't think enuf of myself, makes her dissapointed...bla bla bla... Then I dunno why..tears came running down...urghhh...buat malu jer..its not like I wanted to meraih simpati or what but I just couldn't stop.. I guess with everything going on..and my body was really exhausted with work..tu yg jadi mcm tuh..but still...

Excuses.excuses.whatever.

I'm just just so tired and frustrated right now. I wish hubs were here to say everything is ok..sobbss..

* work has been super super duper hectic. Juggling 2 teams in one day. 1st half at old team.struggling to finish one day task in half day (luckily I'm super veteren in doing my task..sap sap soi maa..haha..yelaa tu..), 2nd half at new team..trying so hard to learn everything I can before the person I replace resigns..not easy since everything is totally different from what I did at my previous team..but hey..when there's a will, there's a way right?!

* went for ultrasound last week..alhamdulillah baby sihat..weights at 1.8kg..dunno if normal or not..but doc said there's no specific statistic in Malaysia for normal or not..it all depends on the mother's size..hmmm... ;p

* Tok Ajah was at Mom's last week..sedih when I think of her..she gets easily confused now...was sitting beside her, teman her lipat baju (bukan dera tauuuu!! She insisted on folding the clothes!) , I was sewing my baby's blanket,,she keeps repeating the same story..all I could do was giving different response everytime she repeats the same story..sometimes the facts of her story are not so accurate..but don't tell her that..dah kene dah.. "Atuk tau laaa anak atuk.." ..ayah said layan kan aje..I wish I could be a better grandaughter and do more than just listen to her stories..but then again...if that makes her happy and not think too much about things yg membebankan..I'm willing to hear her stories 1000 times sekalipun..I dun mind..

* went to e@curve to find hubs naruto headband (I am not telling why he needs it..its just so..hmmm..nvm..hehe) well anyways..went to ikea after that..bought summore fabrics!!!! Urgh!!!I swear I gotta keep away from fabric stores..its just so addictive I tell you!!!in my defence..the new cotton collection were so cute!!! I manage to stop myself at 2 diff paterns..if it wasn't because this month my duit dah semput..kompom amek all the paterns yg available!!!huh!!!

* went out with mom n lil sis dgn niat nak beli her school stuff..ended up in ariani n jakel n borong cam tak ingat dunia (that would be mom k..not me..like I said..semput..;p) anyways..didn't get anything from lil sis back to school list siang tu..so took her out that night with hubs to buy all she needed..was litterally crying and almost sat down on the floor at giant because my legs n ehem ehem were soooo in pain because bnyk sgt berjalan..realized that mmg betul dah sarat sebenarnya diri ini..honestly..I don't feel "sarat" mentally..takpi takleh deny yg mmg sarat dahhhhhh...heheeheee..

* stretchmark kat perut dah macam peta dunia...huduuuuhhhhhh!!!!(Padan muka! Siapa suruh malas2 sapu losyen..). Hubs was like.. "So...??" (Tak memahami betul emosi diri ini.huh) ..I was like texing my fren kat uk to help me buy the elemis oil as soon as the 1st sign of stretchmark showed..hope she can post for me..klu tak have to find other alternative..mahal sket pun takpe laa..sobsss...

* hubs bought me a toilet floor mat because I keep on TERgelincir when I take my shower or amek wuduk..kesian at the sinki, sket lagi nak tercabut sbb cannot stand me hanging on to it everytime nak terjatuh..hehe..yes people.. I'm clumsy like that!!

* went baby shopping with mommy dearest on last day of YES..I have officially checked my last item in my list n now all my basic needs for little A dah complete..alhamdulillah... ;) thanks mommy for the baby stuff.. Tgk little A, granma syg kamu..hehehe.. ;p

* hubs installed the baby cot yesterday..alamakkk..it seems so real now looking at it nicely sitting there beside our bed.. Hmmm..haven't took the measurements for the bedsheet n side bumper yet..need to start sewing..everyone dok ckp.."Ni nampak gaya mcm bersalin awal ni.." ??? Why they say that..I dunno..but cukup 44 kali..bersalin awal sunnguh aku nanti..better be prepared huh? ;p


So that's it..its been a long and boring post..but I care not..hehe..need to write..need to write.. ;)


Opss...lil sis wants a flute (pulak dahhhhh)..student one, not the pro one..found at e-bay rm400 but seller from china..told her to find locally first..but she said all above rm1k!! Huaaa!! Yeke??? Mesti ade kot yg murah sket right?? Any idea where to get eyh?? Would appreaciate your help on this..thanks!! ;)
