when it comes to my kid..i always nak give yg terbaik untuk die... from stroller to toys and right down to the stokins... (or actually alasan mama die nak shopping..lol!)

I never understand before, when I see kids get pampered by the parents..or how much a parent spend for their kids..cam rase membazir pun ade diorang2 ni...but once I got my own kid...everything changed...

meeting the sspians

i cannot remember the last gathering our batch had. i think like 2 years back? hmm..we normally just meet-up whenever one of us get hitched..and make the event like ours...kecoh macam ape jer...so the latest event was Sherot's wedding, quite a number of us attended...maybe since ramai dah start kerja, compared to last time, everyone was everywhere....blaja abroad laa..ape laa...now that mostly dah settled down, so bila ade event cm ni..ramai laa yg ade..but mmg best amat2 laa...everyone dah lain but still the same...camne tu..hehe...

was chatting with elyn friday night...(i was up until 2 am..putting everything in order...this month target and whatnot) and realized that it has been long since we hung out together2..so decided to have brunch at Teh Tarik Place at the Curve..the nasi lemak is delish! tapi tak sempat nak amek gambar coz I was so hungry ..food sampai jer melahap cam ape jerkk...

Anyways..it was nice..konon2 playdate...but actually it was a playdate for the parents..weird pun ade jugak..just one year ago, lepak ber-6, masing2 tgh pregnant..now with the kids in the picture, it was 9 of us including 3 strollers..huhu...

we had brunch at Teh Tarik Place, shopping at Toys R Us..kids always comes first now! jalan2 dalam pets world looking at fishes and turtles and cats and dogs and snakesss....then went to popular, spent almost 1 hour there looking at books for our lil munchkins....yes..its all about the kids people.. ;)

i dont know why i bought the white one, since I've been condemning the white-berry ever since it made its way to the stores last year..its true what people say..tak kenal maka tak cinta kan.. ;p

i just simply cant make the connection....

I was driving back from work the other night and noticed this billboard. Since it was a 10 minutes red light (I kid u not..timing yer!) , I read, and reread, and reread...but still...i dont get it...

rasa masih berada di ketika itu..tapi sebenarnya sudah dewasa T__T

i miss the times where everything was care-free and easy and no worries ;)

i used to be a very creative kid..(or still am? angkat bakul please!)

i would make robots, flowers..everything...out of papers, egg boxes, or anything I could put my hands on..

i started sewing at 9!

everything was just fun.. ;)

i had a very happy childhood..great parents, siblings, cousins, aunts and uncles, grandparents.. I hope that one day..I could give the same to my kids, grand-kids, niece and nephews.. ;) insyaAllah... ;)

guess which one is me? yes, yg dok pandang atas tuu.. ;)

my phone is not functioning

dear friends and family,

if you have sms/bbm/called me these past few days..and i didnt reply or you cant get through... I am so sorry...!! my phone went kaput on me..and since its Year End closing...I couldnt find the time to go run to the shops to get my self a new phone..

plus, Aqil and Hubs, both high fever for 2 days which makes it much more harder to go phone hunting...I dont have any extra phone lying around and hubs is waiting for a very important call so cannot borrow his..

2010 recap

2010.

Not much happened in 2010 for me.

Work wise, from doing something so clerical for almost 2 years (nama jer finance tapi hmm..ntah laa..takyah ade degree pun boleh buat kot) , I finally took the courage and get out from my comfort zone, and applied to change teams. Not many know this, but I was given a choice, to transfer into an established team, doing AP, or transfer into a team that still is not stabilized, but do almost full set of account. I chose the latter. just because I didnt want to go into that routine job again, and wanted something challenging. And boy, was it challenging! All the issue logs, the very2 demanding business partner, losing my Team Leader, losing my team mates, changing teammates 2 times in a year, changed my job scope again - which is more challenging than before, getting scolded at..heck..it is still challenging up until today! but I dont know..I kinda love the work tho..I cant lie...I am learning so much! but..hmmm.... ;)


Anyways... tho not many things happened this year, the most significant one, the most memorable one happened this year... I was blessed to have my little angel, Aqil Sidqi ;)

I was never a child-person..sure I was OK with kids, I dont hate them or anything, just that, I can play with them like for an hour then..ok enough... give them back to their parents or something...

But with your own kid..its different...totally different...I never could ever imagined that I could love somebody this much..he's just my everything...

watching these pictures makes me smile..but he's growing up too fast! He'll soon be 25 and get married! can I freeze him like this forever... T___T

I've learned a lot, being a mom... I think I'm a different person than I was before.. everything I do is for him...that explains the huge step I'm taking this year,2011...i'll blog about it when everything is a done deal.. ;)



So what is my new year's resolution ?

To be a better Muslim to my one and only Allah.

To be a better daughter to my wonderful parents. now that I am a mother myself, I just understand my parents much more now.

To be a better wife to my loving husband. ;)

To be the best mom in the world to my lil Aqil! And to provide the very best for him. Attention, life, education, LOVE.

To be a better person for myself.
